Instantscan.ca (“Instantscan”, “we”) takes your privacy seriously. 2. Information we collect

Identity: legal name, date of birth. Contact: email, phone, address. Verification: government-issued ID and selfie. Payment: handled by a PCI-DSS certified processor; we never store your full card number.

Browsing data: cookies and advertising identifiers, including Google Ads, used to measure the effectiveness of our ads.

3. How we use it

We use your information only to submit your check to our authorized police partners, verify your identity, deliver your report, process payment, prevent fraud, and provide support.

4. Disclosure

We never sell your information. It is shared only with partner police services, our identity verification provider, and our payment processor, strictly as needed.

5. Security & retention

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We keep it only as long as needed for these purposes and our legal obligations, then securely delete or anonymize it.
