1. Acceptance
By using Instantscan.ca, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of service
Instantscan facilitates name-based criminal record check requests with authorized Canadian police services. We do not maintain any criminal database and never alter results provided by police.
3. Your responsibilities
You confirm the check is about yourself, that all information and documents provided are accurate and complete, and that you consent to a search of the RCMP National Repository of Criminal Records.
4. Service limitations
Our checks do not replace fingerprint-based or Vulnerable Sector checks and are not suitable for immigration, visas, or citizenship. It is your responsibility to confirm the requesting organization accepts this type of check.
5. Refunds
All purchases are final and non-refundable once your application is submitted, including when the result is inconclusive or an organization declines a third-party check.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Instantscan is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.
